This photo shows Gambian immigrants from Sekka and Tajoura detention centers leaving Tripoli from Mitiga Airport, heading to Banjul, Gambia.

About 150 immigrants with 31  from the Tripoli Center and 52 from the Tajoura Center for this journey were collected by the IOM streets program, and from the detention centers in Tripoli and Tajoura. The Head of Media at the Tripoli Detention Centre, Hosney Abuayia, said that ''The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) are the only NGOs that are doing serious work on the ground and are providing assistance and solutions to migrants''. He also added "the migrants in this detention center are fewer now, at the moment we have about 500 migrants." The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has repatriated more than 7,300 migrants to their countries in the Voluntary Repatriation Program from the beginning of 2017 until now, most of them from the Tripoli Detention Center.
