At least 13 people are missing at sea after a boat sank off the coast of Louata in the governorate of Sfax. Tunisian coast guards said they rescued 24 people.
At least 13 people are missing at sea after Tunisian coast guards rescued in the night between January 28 and 29 a reported 24 migrants who were on a boat that sank off the coast of Louata, in the governorate of Sfax, according to a spokesman of the local National guard.
In a statement, the National guard said an operation is ongoing to search for missing passengers. The same source added that the rescued people said they are from several countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
