Volunteers from the Italian environmental organization Legambiente and migrants living in a camp near the Tiburtina train station in Rome came together in an event called 'Clean the World' on Sunday. They cleaned up rubbish in the camp as well in the surrounding streets and areas. The initiative was part of a nation-wide awareness campaign in Italy.

'Clean the World' is a national initiative by Legambiente that has led to the holding of dozens of events across Italy between September 22 and 24. About 600,000 people took part, including Italians, foreigners, and migrants.

In Rome, migrants living in the Tibutina camp supported by the Baobab Experience foundation, took part.
