Dozens of people joined a protest rally in Paris at the weekend in support of the anti-migrant group Generation Identity. The group is due to respond to a government order for its dissolution.
French authorities have launched an investigation into the extremist group Génération identitaire on the grounds of incitement to racial hatred. Following an anti-migrant action earlier this month in the Pyrenees, the interior minister also said he would consider shutting the group down.
Members and supporters of German far-right groups have been involved in clashes with demonstrators on the Greek island of Lesbos. The right-wing activists have traveled to Greece, they say, to show solidarity with islanders and defend Europe's borders against migrants.
